Building stronger families and communities through community engagement and partnership with local organizations.

No single organization can meet every need. Through the Community Partnerships thrust, the Dallas Chapter works with local organizations to build stronger families and a stronger community.

How we serve

We support the national projects and partners of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., and we look for Dallas organizations whose work lines up with ours. Chapter events such as the UNCF North Texas Walk, our Hunger Relief Initiative, and our community fair are places where these partnerships come to life.

Civic engagement is a year-round part of this work. Alongside the NAACP, the National Council of Negro Women, and national initiatives including When We All Vote, our Ladies register voters and share voter education in the community, including at Wilmer-Hutchins High School on National Voter Registration Day. Through the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, we support sickle cell awareness and blood donation, and each year we join the national Building Bridges Day of Giving.

If your organization, church, or campus would like to host a voter registration or voter education table with us, we would be glad to hear from you.

Get connected

If your organization shares our commitment to service, we would welcome a conversation about working together.
