Sickle cell awareness is one of the most consistent threads in our national service, carried out through the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America. This September, our Ladies took part in national Sickle Cell Awareness programming, including a community movie night and blood drive training that prepares our chapter to support donation drives across the city.
That work continues into the holiday season with the Sickle Cell Holiday Blood Drive Challenge. Donating blood is one of the simplest, highest-impact ways to stand with families living with sickle cell disease, and we will share dates and locations here as they are confirmed.
