About the Dallas Chapter
The Dallas Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. is a community of women committed to service. We are one of the oldest and most historically significant chapters of Top Ladies of Distinction, and we are proud to call Dallas home.
The Dallas Chapter was chartered on June 5, 1965, as Charter Number 1003, just one year after Top Ladies of Distinction was founded.
Our mission
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. exists to enhance and enrich the lives of youth and adults through national programs, projects, and partners.
Our purpose
Our national purpose is to advance the standards, ideals, and general welfare of the community through service by encouraging, promoting, and extending activities that will be conducive to the betterment and ultimate welfare of people.
Our theme and focus
The national theme of Top Ladies of Distinction is Continuity of Service in Action, and our national focus is ONE TLOD, ONE VOICE, ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. In Dallas, that means our service is steady, shared, and aimed at what is possible for the people we serve.
Our place in Area I
Top Ladies of Distinction chapters are organized into areas and clusters. The Dallas Chapter is part of Area I and the West Cluster. We join sister chapters at cluster and area conferences for training, fellowship, and recognition of both Ladies and Top Teens.
