National Wear Red Day
Heart health awareness for women, in support of the American Heart Association. Wear red with us and share why.
National Thrust

Transforming lives to strengthen families and communities, promoting women's overall wellness.
When a woman is well, the people around her feel it. Our Status of Women work focuses on the whole person: body, mind, and safety. Through this national thrust, the Dallas Chapter shares information, opens conversations, and connects women with trusted resources on the health and safety issues that affect them most.
We follow the national focus areas for this thrust, including mental health, domestic violence awareness, human trafficking awareness, heart health, breast cancer, lupus, and Alzheimer's disease. Our work takes the form of awareness events, resource sharing, and partnerships with national organizations such as the American Heart Association and the Alzheimer's Association.
Each February, we mark National Wear Red Day for women's heart health in support of the American Heart Association, and each March, during Women's History Month, our Community Women Luncheon honors women in the Dallas community.
If your organization offers resources for women's health or safety in the Dallas area and would like to work with us, we would love to hear from you through our partner inquiry.
