National Thrust
Making the community cleaner, more beautiful, and more eco-friendly.
Pride in a place shows. Through the Community Beautification thrust, the Dallas Chapter helps make our city cleaner, more beautiful, and more eco-friendly, in alignment with the national partnership with Keep America Beautiful.
Ladies and Top Teens work side by side on projects that leave a visible mark on the neighborhoods we love. This thrust is also a natural place for families, friends, and community groups to serve with us.
Each summer, our annual Garden Competition celebrates the neighbors, Ladies, and families who keep Dallas greener and more beautiful. The 3rd Annual Garden Competition ran through August 2026, with entries shared under the hashtag #TLODGardenGlow.
Have a park, school, or block that could use some care? Tell us about it through our volunteer or partner inquiry.
Our summer closed with two community-facing efforts: the 3rd Annual Garden Competition, celebrating neighborhood beautification across Dallas, and the Loose Loot for Literacy school supply drive, sending students back to class ready to learn.
